The existing green space has a privileged position as it provides views towards the modern and old city, has a rich variety of indigenous trees, and is located next to the statue of Liberty and the Venetian walls.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The park was designed in collaboration with the Ministry of Nicosia, the Department of Gardens and the Department of Antiquities, who all made sure to take all the necessary measures to protect existing trees and the Venetian walls, and to ultimately create a design that will appropriately cohabit with the provided area.
